Job summary

Devopsroles in Kraków is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, spanning cloud infra, automation, and production support. You will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensure resilience of cloud services, and contribute to blockchain-based platforms in a dynamic DevOps team.

Candidates should have 4+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong GCP and Kubernetes expertise, and hands-on CI/CD experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.
• Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Compute Engine, Networking, Storage, PostgreSQL).
• Strong Kubernetes and containerized environments knowledge.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, Maven, SonarQube and artifact repositories.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Ansible and Shell scripting.
• Monitoring, logging, observability tools.
• Live production support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation solutions.
• Support software delivery and production operations across the full application lifecycle.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve incidents affecting production services.
• Ensure service resilience and recovery objectives are met.
• Manage and optimize Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.
• Implement IaC using Terraform, Ansible and scripting.
• Monitor performance using logging and monitoring tools.
• Support release management and software deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service quality.
• Provide post go-live support for Blockchain and DLT platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement across DevOps processes and tooling.

Salary range: 15900-24300 PLN gross

What will you do?

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will support the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, combining software development, cloud infrastructure, automation, and production support responsibilities. You will work within a DevOps product team, driving continuous improvement, ensuring service resilience, and maintaining highly available cloud-based solutions. The role includes building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, supporting production environments, and contributing to the delivery of innovative technologies, including blockchain-based platforms.

Your tasks

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation solutions
• Support software delivery and production operations across the full application lifecycle
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve incidents affecting production services
• Ensure service resilience, sustainability and recovery objectives are achieved
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure hosted on Google Cloud Platform
• Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, Ansible and scripting
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using logging and monitoring tools
• Support release management activities and software deployments
• Collaborate with development, operations and support teams to improve service quality
• Provide post go-live support for Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology platforms
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across DevOps processes and tooling

Your skills

• At least 4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Compute Engine, Networking, Storage, PostgreSQL and related services)
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, Maven, SonarQube and artifact repositories
• Practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Experience with Ansible and Shell Scripting
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging and observability tools
• Experience supporting live production environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to cooperate with non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing environments
