Job summary

Sii Ukraine LLC is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic team responsible for deploying a Java-based backend to AWS and ensuring regulatory compliance. This hybrid role is based in Cracow and involves taking a complex solution to production hosting on AWS, with CI/CD and IaC at the core of deployment.

You will collaborate with frontend developers to integrate the CMS dashboard with backend services, strengthen security, and provide technical guidance to the team throughout

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• At least 2 years in AEM-related environments.
• Strong AWS expertise.
• Experience with REST services and Docker.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of a Java-based backend to production hosting on AWS.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and data residency requirements.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code for deployments.
• Monitor system performance and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Enhance security measures and ensure the application meets quality and security standards.
• Develop and maintain REST services to support frontend applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate the CMS dashboard with backend services.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members throughout the development process.
