Role Overview

Astral Payments is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen our global platform team. In this role, you will own the reliability, scalability and automation of our cloud environments, ensuring stable, secure and production-grade infrastructure for our engineering teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

• Design, build and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Maintain and optimise Kubernetes clusters.
• Create and maintain custom Helm charts.
• Build new hosting environments and improve existing infrastructure.

Deployment & Automation

• Implement best practice workflows using ArgoCD.
• Own and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Drive continuous integration and deployment.
• Build and validate self-healing service configurations.

Support & Collaboration

• Provide daily support to developers.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and lead RCA.
• Work cross-functionally to implement new components.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in DevOps / Platform / Cloud Engineering.
• Strong experience with Terraform, ArgoCD, AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins.
• Strong command-line skills.
• Understanding of networking, containers and cloud security.
• Excellent communication skills
