Job summary

Graphcore's SW Platform Division seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to build the deployment backbone for Go services powering the Graphcore software platform. You will create CI/CD foundations that help engineers move faster with confidence, supporting Go-based applications and Kubernetes-native services across secure, repeatable deployment workflows.

Your work will automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, Helm or Ansible and collaborate with software engineers to embed DevOps into daily

About the job

Build the deployment backbone for Go services powering Graphcore’s software platform.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will create the CI/CD foundations that help engineers move faster with confidence. You will support Go-based applications and Kubernetes-native services across secure, repeatable deployment workflows.

Your work will shape how software moves from development to production. You will improve pipeline reliability, shorten feedback loops and make deployments easier to audit across environments.

You will automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform, Helm or Ansible. You will also work closely with software engineers to bring DevOps practices into daily development.

This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, clear systems and solving practical engineering problems at scale.

The team and culture

You will join the SW Platform Division in Workload Management Organization, working close to the software engineers building Graphcore’s platform capabilities. Work happens through shared ownership, direct communication and a strong focus on useful outcomes.

You will be trusted to identify issues, propose better approaches and move improvements through to completion. Decisions are made with technical evidence, open discussion and pace.

The team values engineers who think big, act fast and take responsibility for the systems they shape. You will be expected to speak up, challenge assumptions and help others build better software.

What we’re looking for

• Proven DevOps experience in cloud-native environments
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker and container orchestration
• Strong experience building CI/CD workflows using tools such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
• Proficiency in scripting and infrastructure automation using tools such as Python, Bash, Terraform, Helm or Ansible
• Experience supporting Go application development and testing workflows
• Solid understanding of Linux, networking, security and system administration
