PepsiCo Cybersecurity is seeking a highly experienced Data Security Sr. Engineer to join the Threat Defense team in Security Engineering and Architecture.

The successful candidate will help lead the design, deployment, optimization and maintenance of enterprise-scale security observability solutions. This role is ideal for a technical candidate who thrives at the intersection of cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, automation, and data engineering.

Formación

• 5+ years experience of complex data pipeline management and optimization.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud services (Google, AWS or Azure) and ability to optimize their use.
• Experience optimizing data pipelines and observability tools.
• Advanced Python scripting and automation experience.
• Advanced knowledge of GitHub Actions and modifying Actions.
• Advanced proficiency in Terraform for IaC and multi-resource deployments.
• Ability to prepare reports for senior management using Miro, Markdown, and ADO Wiki.

Responsabilidades

• Lead deployment and optimization of observability tools.
• Enhance data pipelines performance and reliability.
• Develop reports and insights for senior management.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and lead training sessions.
• Contribute to architecture design for security observability.
• Scale observability solutions across the organization.
• Apply ML to improve threat detection capabilities.
• Drive observability best practices across departments.
• Address complex observability and security challenges.
• Prepare executive leadership reports and collaborate on strategic initiatives.
