We're hiring a Senior Data Engineer (remote from Warsaw) at ITMAGINATION, join our team of 400+ developers, analysts and testers! Through the readily set up, comprehensive, and self-governing teams, we let our Clients focus on their business while we make sure that their software products and data tools scale up accordingly and with outstanding quality.

We are looking for experienced team players to fill the Senior Data Engineer position and participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the banking area.

You Can Expect:

• Delivering high-quality software solutions, ensuring all quality, scope, and performance expectations are met.
• Taking ownership of technical design activities and documenting all aspects of system architecture thoroughly.
• Collaborating closely and effectively with partner technology teams to support delivery of data and software initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Python, PySpark, Pandas, and experience working with JupyterLab notebooks.
• Hands‑on experience with the AWS cloud platform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and related technologies.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Working knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, Power BI).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Kafka.
• Knowledge of SQL, Hive, and Hadoop.
• Experience using AWS EMR (Elastic MapReduce) to run Spark clusters.
• Familiarity with Terraform.
• Experience with Ansible, Bash scripting, and boto3.
• Prior experience configuring CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
