Our team is looking for a Senior Data Engineer (Python, AWS, SQL) for one of our clients.

Our client is one of the TOP-5 global management consulting firms considered to be among the most prestigious ones in the world. Hundreds of customers from Fortune‑500, including the largest global financial institutions, the world’s top media companies, technology companies and federal government agencies rely on our Client’s proven platform and services.

The Project: You’ll work with our innovative data team focused on cutting‑edge internal GenAI initiatives. Our team is distributed across multiple locations, including offices in North America, Europe, and Japan.

Technology stack: Python, SQL, ETL tools (e.g., Snaplogic, Alteryx), and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), AWS.

Responsibilities
  • Build scalable data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources.
  • Create interactive visualizations and dashboards for stakeholder insights.
  • Transform raw data into high‑impact data marts and custom client models.
  • Perform advanced filtering, aggregation, and cleansing for GenAI use cases.
  • Deliver custom ad‑hoc analytics solving novel business challenges.
  • Partner with product/engineering teams to define analytics roadmap in agile cycles.
  • Enable cutting‑edge GenAI solutions through robust data infrastructure.
Our expectations of the ideal candidate
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS
  • Experience in container technologies like Docker / Kubernetes a plus
  • Experience in building the data pipelines and workflows from ground up, including defining the exception handling strategies
  • Exposure in storing and assembling large complex data sets with various formats such as CSV, JSON, Avro, Parquet
  • Hands‑on coding and application development experience with programming languages such as Python
  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, ETL tools (e.g., Snaplogic, Alteryx), and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, data modeling, data warehousing, data lakes, and big‑data concepts
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle, including experience in tools like JIRA, GitHub
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent area
  • 5+ years of experience in the field of business intelligence, application development, database development, and ETL and/or data analysis domains with extensive SQL knowledge
  • English: Upper‑Intermediate or higher.
