Job summary

Sii Sp. z o.o. w Poznaniu poszukuje doświadczonego Senior Data Engineera do pracy nad projektami w sektorze farmaceutycznym.

Zakres obejmuje projektowanie, rozwijanie i utrzymanie nowoczesnych rozwiązań danych wspierających analitykę i decyzje biznesowe na skalę globalną. Wymagane przynajmniej 5 lat doświadczenia w inżynierii danych, zaawansowana znajomość Pythona (obejmująca programowanie obiektowe oraz Pandas) i praktyczne doświadczenie z AWS (Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions).

Qualifications

• Co najmniej 5 lat doświadczenia w inżynierii danych lub pokrewnych dziedzinach.
• Silne umiejętności programowania w Pythonie, w tym programowanie obiektowe, wzorce projektowe oraz przetwarzanie danych za pomocą Pandas.
• Praktyczne doświadczenie z usługami AWS takimi jak Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda i Step Functions.
• Solidna znajomość architektur chmurowych i skalowalnych rozwiązań z zakresu inżynierii danych.
• Doświadczenie pracy w zespołach Agile i korzystania z nowoczesnych praktyk tworzenia oprogramowania i zarządzania projektami.
• Zaawansowany poziom języka angielskiego.

Responsibilities

• Projektowanie i utrzymanie nowoczesnej platformy inżynierii danych wspierającej procesy biznesowe oparte na danych i analitykę.
• Projektowanie i implementacja skalowalnych rozwiązań inżynierii danych z wykorzystaniem nowoczesnych praktyk programowania w Pythonie.
• Budowa niezawodnych i łatwych w utrzymaniu potoków danych zgodnie z zasadami projektowania obiektowego.
• Współpraca z zespołami Agile i cross-funkcjonalnymi w celu dostarczania wysokiej jakości rozwiązań.
• Wsparcie migracji platform, ulepszeń i integracji w ewoluujących środowiskach biznesowych.
• Diagnozowanie i rozwiązywanie problemów w istniejących potokach danych i procesach przetwarzania.

About the project

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a project within the pharmaceutical industry. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that support advanced analytics and business decision-making. You will contribute to the development of a modern data platform used across diverse markets and business environments, helping to deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions on a global scale.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a modern Data Engineering platform supporting data-driven business processes and analytics
• Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using modern Python development practices
• Build reliable and maintainable data pipelines following object-oriented design principles
• Collaborate with agile, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Support platform migrations, enhancements, and integrations across evolving business environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within existing data and processing pipelines

Our requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields
• Strong Python development skills, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data processing with Pandas
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Step Functions
• Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and scalable data engineering solutions
• Experience working in Agile teams and using modern software development and project management practices
• Advanced level of English
