Job summary

Vecten, a Warsaw-based AI-native data partner, seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement a scalable data warehouse for a US-based investment firm. You will integrate sources, build pipelines and enable ML-powered decision making.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data engineering, strong Python/SQL, DBT, Snowflake and Airflow expertise, plus AWS experience. Excellent English is required; remote-friendly with flexible hours and a central Warsaw office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Hands-on Python, SQL and data warehouse design.

Responsibilities

• Model datasets and schemas for consistency and accessibility.
• Design and implement data transformations and data marts.
• Integrate third-party sources into the data warehouse.
• Build data flows for batch pipelines, aggregation and modeling.
