Job summary

The HEINEKEN Company Kraków is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to drive end-to-end data platforms within the Data Foundation scope. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications, develop scalable data pipelines, and ensure alignment with architecture and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering and data warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL and data modelling.
• Proficient in Python, SQL and big data technologies (MPP, streaming).
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Databricks stack.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps and modern software practices.
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Data Engineers in scalable data solutions.
• Lead design and delivery of data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and SLA adherence of data platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Owner/Architect and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute as an individual contributor (~60%) delivering high-quality code.
• Drive DevSecOps practices and architectural guidance across the team.
