Sii Poland in Poland is seeking a Senior Big Data Developer to design and build a modern data platform using Databricks and the Azure ecosystem. You will create scalable data solutions, optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, and integrate data from multiple sources to support end-to-end workflows.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, strong Python/PySpark skills, and experience with Databricks, Delta Tables, and Azure services. English proficiency is a must.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Data Engineer/Big Data Engineer role or similar.
• Hands-on Python and PySpark with production experience.
• Proven Databricks, Delta Tables and modern data architectures.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Event Hub.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data solutions using Databricks, Python and PySpark.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data.
• Implement and maintain medallion architecture with Delta Tables.
• Integrate data from SFTP, Delta Tables and Azure Event Hub.
• Work with Azure Data Factory to support end-to-end data workflows.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve code quality, testing and docs.
