Job summary

instinctools is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer for a client project focused on building a centralized DWH and scalable data pipelines. You will own the design and implementation of financial data flows, reconciling sources and maintaining audit-ready data in BigQuery.

You will work closely with analytics and finance stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data models and incremental load processes, using Airflow and dbt/Dataform within a Google Cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer / DWH Engineer / Data Analyst.
• Hands-on experience with data warehouses and DWH architecture (ODS, Data Marts).
• Understanding of incremental loads, historical data handling, and deduplication.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with BigQuery.
• Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
• Ability to translate business needs into data requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gather and clarify requirements from analytics and finance stakeholders.
• Design and evolve DWH architecture (ODS / Data Marts) with audit requirements in mind.
• Develop and maintain financial data pipelines.

Looking for a Senior Data Analytics Engineer for one of our clients.

Location:

Europe, Poland, Kazakhstan

Client:

It offers a global mobility and urban services platform that allows users to book rides or other services and negotiate the fare directly with the service provider. It offers a variety of services including ride-hailing, intercity travel, delivery, and task assistance, operating in over 700 cities across 47 countries and is the second most downloaded mobility app in the world.

Project:

The Data Usage team is responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines and a centralized Data Warehouse (DWH) at inDrive, based on Google Cloud Platform.

One of the first major projects will be a Payment Provider Reconciliation.

The project focuses on automating multiple streams of financial reporting received from payment providers, reconciling them with internal data, and integrating the results into the DWH.

The goal is to improve transparency, consistency, and audit readiness of financial data across different providers and reporting formats.

Our Expectations Of The Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer / DWH Engineer / Data Analyst working with DWH
• Hands-on experience with data warehouses Strong understanding of DWH architecture and data layers (ODS, Data Marts)
• Understanding of incremental loads, historical data handling, and deduplication
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience designing and optimizing data marts
• Experience with BigQuery (partitioning, clustering, cost-aware querying)
• Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Ability to work with stakeholders and translate business needs into data requirements

Must Have To Be Familiar With:

• Languages: SQL (strong knowledge), Python (basic knowledge)
• Orchestration: Airflow or similar orchestration tool
• Version Control: Git Experience with Data Quality / Data Governance / SLAs

Nice To Have:

• Cloud & Storage: Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataform, Cloud Storage)
• Analytics & BI: Looker, Tableau
• Experience working with financial data or financial reporting
• Experience preparing data for audits or regulatory requirements
