Job summary

PwC Polska invites a Senior Consultant to join the Delivering Deal Value team, focusing on post-merger integration, synergy analyses, and strategic divestitures. You will work with Strategy, Financial Due Diligence, Regulatory, Legal, and Tax teams to deliver insights and value for clients.

You will lead planning and execution, quantify synergies, and contribute to due diligence and client communications. Strong finance, reporting, and multi-language communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience on operational and/or financial M&A projects.
• Strong ability to produce clear, high-quality written reports.
• Fluency in Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Leading the strategic planning and execution of complex post-merger integration initiatives to ensure seamless alignment and value realization.
• Conducting in-depth synergy analyses, including identification, quantification, and validation of potential synergies from business combinations.
• Advising clients on planning and management of divestiture separation processes, ensuring continuity and risk mitigation.
• Guiding clients through operational due diligence to assess operating environments and identify value drivers and risks.
• Supporting clients in communicating operating performance and strategic positioning to prospective buyers.

The transaction market is becoming increasingly complex - buyers and sellers need to quickly and efficiently understand the main business drivers and key areas of opportunity to unlock deal value. In response, we are growing our team to offer new transaction-related services to clients. The Delivering Deal Value Team works closely with other PwC teams, including Strategy, Financial Due Diligence, Regulatory, Legal, and Tax. Together with these specialists, the team provides clients with insights and advice throughout the M&A process.

Senior Consultant

Your future role:

• Leading the strategic planning and execution of complex post-merger integration initiatives to ensure seamless alignment and value realization,
• Conducting in-depth synergy analyses, including the identification, rigorous quantification, and validation of potential synergies arising from business combinations,
• Advising clients on the comprehensive planning and management of divestiture separation processes, ensuring operational continuity and risk mitigation,
• Guiding clients through detailed operational due diligence to thoroughly assess the target businesses’ operating environments and identify key value drivers and risks,
• Supporting clients in effectively communicating the quality, performance, and strategic positioning of their operating environments to prospective buyers, enhancing transaction outcomes.

Apply if you have:

• Experience working on operational and/or financial aspects of M&A-related projects, such as managing and delivering operational change initiatives, merger integrations, synergy analysis, carve-out planning, or financial and operational due diligence,
• Strong financial analysis skills and a good understanding of key financial information drivers,
• Proficiency in leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies and tools in daily workflows, including task automation, information analysis, and content generation,
• The ability to quickly interpret large volumes of information and extract hypotheses and key insights,
• Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to produce clear and high-quality written reports,
• The ability to work independently and deliver under tight deadlines,
• Fluency in Polish and English.
