EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior 3rd Line / Software Maintenance Engineer to join our global Cloud Hosting team. You will own EKS cluster management, develop automation and internal APIs, and participate in on-call rotations while delivering high-quality code and documentation.

You will work in a dev+ops culture with customers, focusing on privacy, security, and resilience across web services, while enjoying a hybrid work setup and potential travel opportunities within Poland and abroad.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of platform devops experience with infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS), Vault, Kyverno and policy management.
• Scripting skills in Python, Ruby or Bash with Infrastructure as Code approach.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Docker and Ansible.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud, networking and MongoDB.
• Basic knowledge of Go language and willingness to learn GoLang quickly.
• Strong communication skills and client-centric approach.
• Ability to participate in On-Call support rota (one week per 2-3 months) with bonus.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Own EKS cluster management and related automations.
• Solve problems at every layer of the technology stack.
• Develop high quality, stable code for automation and internal APIs.
• participate in the On-call rota with compensation.
• Write and publish High Level Designs and developer documentation.
• Contribute to release planning around schedules and priorities.
• Design for privacy, security, compliance, high availability and performance.
• Analyze requirements and select best solutions; implement them.
• Complete GoLang test tasks before client interviews.
