Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, deploy and optimize cloud infrastructure in our Digital Hub in Warsaw. This role focuses on AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes (EKS) with hybrid work options.

You will implement automation using Python and Bash, manage Linux environments, and collaborate on CI/CD pipelines with GitHub to deliver scalable, secure platforms across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering or a related role.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects and leading technical teams.
• Significant experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
• Comprehensive knowledge of server and storage systems.
• Advanced proficiency with virtualization technologies.
• Advanced scripting and automation skills.
• Exceptional problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CDK.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes (EKS) clusters.
• Write automation scripts using Python and Bash.
• Manage Linux-based environments.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows using GitHub.
