Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to lead a large multi-cloud platform and secure cloud deployments across AWS and Azure. You will shape architecture strategy, drive automation, and mentor engineering teams to deliver scalable, compliant cloud solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in IT with 5+ years in enterprise cloud design across multi-cloud environments; proficiency in Terraform, CI/CD, and Kubernetes is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT with 5+ years in enterprise cloud design across multi-cloud environments (Azure & AWS).
• Deep knowledge of Well-Architected & Cloud Adoption Frameworks.
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical blueprints, and mentor technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, resilient solutions across Azure and AWS (IaaS, PaaS, serverless) aligning with Well-Architected Frameworks; lead application modernization and containerization (Kubernetes).
• Design enterprise account/subscription topologies, policy-as-code guardrails, strict RBAC, and tagging standards.
• Oversee hub-and-spoke/vWAN topologies, hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute/Direct Connect), Zero Trust identity/SSO, and Cloud Security Posture Management.
• Enforce IaC with Terraform via CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions); drive cost optimization and FinOps best practices.
• Evaluate and integrate cloud AI platforms (Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI).
• Lead architecture review boards, author reference architectures, evaluate vendors, and mentor engineering teams.

Join global Technology & Transformation organization, a cross-functional team driving the next generation of enterprise insurance solutions. We are building and scaling a flagship multi-tenant insurance platform featuring integrated e-billing, real-time analytics, and automated claims workflows servicing thousands of global clients.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to lead, scale, and secure our multi-cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will define architecture strategy and drive cloud automation across AWS, Azure, other clouds, and hybrid on-premises environments. You will streamline enterprise deployments, enhance high availability and reliability, and automate day-to-day operations to power mission-critical financial and claims services at scale.

Requirements

8+ years in IT with 5+ years in enterprise cloud design across multi-cloud environments (Azure & AWS).

Deep knowledge of Well-Architected & Cloud Adoption Frameworks, Terraform, CI/CD, and Kubernetes.

Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical blueprints, and mentor technical teams.

Must have:

• Multi-cloud architecture: expert-level design across Azure, AWS, including IaaS, PaaS and serverless services (GCP nice to have)
• Frameworks: Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Frameworks across the major cloud providers
• Landing zones and governance: account and subscription design, policy as code, RBAC, tagging standards
• Networking: hub-and-spoke, transit and vWAN designs, private connectivity (ExpressRoute, Direct Connect), hybrid DNS
• Identity and security: federated identity/SSO, privileged access, zero trust, cloud security posture management
• Infrastructure as code and DevOps: Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar)
• Resilience and cost: high availability, disaster recovery, observability, FinOps
• Modernization: containerization (Kubernetes) and migration strategy
• AI: Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock and/or Google Vertex AI (nice to have)
• Design and architecture experience in a large enterprise environment
