Job summary

UBS is seeking a senior Solution Architect in Kraków to own architecture end-to-end and deliver modernized, scalable software environments. The role focuses on cloud migration, AI-enabled workflows, and resilient, observable systems within a regulatory-driven landscape.

You will lead collaboration with global teams to move services to strategic platforms and decommission legacy tech, while ensuring security and compliance across implementations.

Qualifications

• Owns architecture from design to production outcomes.
• Designing cloud migrations for complex, business-critical apps.
• Resilient distributed systems with high availability and observability.
• Translate strategy into executable migration plans with milestones.
• Strong delivery focus and ability to remove blockers with engineers.
• Experience applying AI to software engineering with governance controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical modernization of the Name and Media Screening landscape, with clear ownership of execution and measurable delivery outcomes.
• Accelerate responsible AI adoption across the team and applications, focusing on practical use cases that meet security, risk, data, and compliance requirements.
• Define and deliver the cloud migration roadmap, including target architecture, migration sequencing, engineering guardrails, and operational readiness.
• Increase application resilience through scalable architecture, observability, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and the removal of systemic risks.
• Move applications and services to strategic platforms, work directly with engineers to remove delivery blockers, and safely decommission legacy technologies.
