Job summary

N-iX is seeking a Senior AQA Engineer with C# to join a distributed Quality team across Europe in a Scrum environment. You will focus on test automation using C# and modern testing tools, contributing to a cloud-based Microsoft Azure platform used by insurers and automotive clients.

The role involves coaching others, driving test automation strategy, and running performance tests while collaborating with local and remote colleagues to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in testing, with at least 3 years in UI/API automation.
• Strong knowledge of Web Application testing, including API testing using Rest #.
• Hands-on experience with OOP, SOLID, and related principles.
• Experience testing systems with microservice architecture.
• Proficiency in CRUD services and backend validation.
• Experience with C# language and QA tooling.
• Willingness to perform Manual testing alongside automated testing.
• Strong SQL Server and TSQL knowledge; familiarity with Visual Studio, Git, Selenium, Playwright, and Xray.
• Good understanding of industry-standard QA processes, tools, and techniques.

• Writing automated test scripts to verify and validate that the new software meets business needs.
• Gaining a strong understanding of the business operation.
• Recording and monitoring QA test results.
• Enhancing existing automation back-end and front-end framework.
• Providing coaching support to others in the QA team.
• Providing QA effort estimates in work refinement sessions.
• Helping to drive the test automation strategy across the business.
• Running performance tests and ensuring results meet established levels.
• Assisting in the UAT process by helping end users understand how to use the software.
• Be an active member of the Scrum team, improving processes and ensuring delivery commitments.
