Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Senior Big Data Engineer to design, develop, and support data pipelines handling billions of records in healthcare data. You will work with architects and QA, guiding a team to deliver scalable ETL solutions on Databricks.

You will mentor engineers, implement robust CI/CD, and contribute to data quality, performance, and production readiness in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 6+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong Databricks and Spark knowledge; Azure cloud experience.
• Deep understanding of ETL design, data quality and warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor junior/mid engineers, providing technical direction.
• Own delivery of assigned workstreams with quality and timeliness.
• Build pipelines for processing large medical data volumes.
• Collaborate in analysis, system design, development, deployment and maintenance.
• Conduct peer code reviews and define technical standards.
• Create automated unit and integration tests.
