Job summary

Inetum Polska, part of the Inetum Group, is looking for a senior System Analyst for a banking/KYC project. You will translate business needs into system requirements and collaborate with developers and testers to ensure quality.

The role requires 5-6+ years in banking/financial services, strong REST API know-how, and ability to work in a hybrid setup from Katowice (1 day onsite). Fluent Polish and English are required.

Qualifications

• 5-6+ years of experience as a System Analyst or Business-System Analyst.
• Experience on banking or financial services projects.
• Strong knowledge of REST API-based integrations.
• Experience analyzing complex backend systems.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and inter-system communication.
• Ability to translate business requirements into system requirements.
• Experience with payment processing, settlements, fees, commissions, or card-related products.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to drive initiatives independently and manage topics end-to-end.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model from Katowice (1 day per week onsite).
• Fluent Polish and English (minimum B2 level).

Responsibilities

• Conduct business and system analysis of banking applications.
• Collaborate with developers and testers to enhance application quality.
• Support integration and end-to-end testing.
• Lead and update business-system documentation (process models, use cases, integration specifications).
• Design and verify integrations between banking systems (REST/SOAP, message brokers).
• Work with business stakeholders to define system development directions.
• Operate within a self-organizing team using Agile methodologies (Scrum).
