Job summary

Tesco Poland’s The Contact team builds highly scalable Java services powering Tesco customer experiences. The role emphasizes solving performance and scalability challenges while migrating to Kubernetes, with a focus on reliability and maintainability.

You will mentor engineers, own critical components, and contribute to data-driven features using modern cloud tooling and infrastructure as code.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of delivering Java solutions.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience with Azure, AWS or other cloud solutions, Terraform.
• Experience in system design.
• Proven ownership of a project and team leadership; proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Developing high‑quality software solutions in Java.
• Work with Azure and Terraform (IaC) or willingness to learn.
• Implement and advocate CI/CD best practices.
• Maintain high-quality documentation for processes and design.
• Ensure robust, scalable, and efficient solutions.
