Job summary

GRID esports in Wroclaw is looking for a backend engineer to build event-driven, mission-critical services using Kotlin or Go. You will shape the technology landscape with experienced colleagues and contribute to architectural discussions.

Collaboration with product stakeholders, emphasis on clean API design (REST/GraphQL), automated testing and monitoring, and a strong focus on CI/CD will be core. Ideally you thrive in a fast-paced startup and enjoy delivering robust systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience.
• Deep knowledge of a strongly typed language (Kotlin or Go).
• Experience with GraphQL/REST APIs and microservices.
• Expertise in API design with clear, self-documenting contracts.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing/monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Build greenfield mission-critical services.
• Expand reliability of existing systems.
• Shape GRID's technology landscape with colleagues.
• Participate in architectural discussions and enforce good practices.
