Job summary

Sii is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric to join our Data & Analytics Competence Center in Poland. You will design, build, and operate modern data platforms, integrating enterprise sources and enabling advanced analytics and reporting on Azure.

You will focus on Fabric-based solutions, data modeling, optimization, security, and mentoring junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of Azure data engineering and data platform experience.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects.
• Advanced Python and SQL programming skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Azure DWH, Data Factory, Data Lake, and Azure SQL Database.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and serverless computing in Azure.
• Experience scripting and automation with PowerShell, ARM templates.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Fluent Polish required; residing in Poland required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain data solutions on an enterprise-level platform for reporting and analytics.
• Work with structured data across financial, manufacturing, procurement, sales, and pricing domains.
• Design and implement scalable, robust Azure data solutions using Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks, ETL/ELT.
• Create and maintain data models and schemas to support business needs.
• Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure security and compliance in the Azure architecture.
• Provide support and troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative learning environment.
• Stay up-to-date with Azure technologies and best practices.
