Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Associate in the Resolution Stress Testing team to advance modeling strategies for winding down markets activities during recovery or resolution events.

You will work with multiple lines of business to quantify exit costs, estimate liquidity impacts, and evaluate RWA under varied scenarios. The role emphasizes developing robust modeling frameworks, communicating results to senior management, and using Python to support analysis, documentation, and testing

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in model development, review, or testing.
• Strong understanding of modeling best practices and documentation.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of work across multiple models.
• Strong communication of methodologies to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with model development and maintenance for Recovery & Resolution suite.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of quantitative models including data, assumptions, methodologies, and outputs.
• Identify model limitations and potential risk drivers.
• Partner with Finance teams to develop packaging and unwinding methodologies.
• Explain results to senior stakeholders through presentations.
• Challenge pre-existing modeling assumptions.
• Serve as a counterweight and primary contact for Model Risk.
• Use Python to support modeling workflows.
