Job summary

Sigma Software in Kraków is seeking a Senior Android Developer to own and evolve native Android SDKs used by publishers worldwide. You will work remotely with a distributed team to maintain and enhance production-grade mobile SDKs integrated into real apps, focusing on stability and release quality.

You should bring 4+ years of Android experience, strong Kotlin and Java skills, and hands-on knowledge of Maven Central, JitPack, and Gradle.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin and Java expertise and Android SDK knowledge.
• Experience with Maven Central, JitPack, and Gradle plugins for distribution.
• Familiarity with automated and device-based testing and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain native Android SDKs in production.
• Implement new SDK features and improve existing functionality.
• Ensure SDK stability, backward compatibility, and release quality.
• Design packaging, versioning, and release processes for SDKs.
• Maintain Maven/Gradle distribution pipelines.
• Create automated tests and device-based testing solutions.
• Investigate defects and integration issues reported by publishers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and performance.
• Participate in release planning, validation, and QA activities.
• Support external publishers during SDK integration and troubleshooting.
