Job summary

Kira, a remote-friendly company based in Poland, is seeking an Android engineer to build the native Android experience for our AI Neobank App. You’ll focus on clean user flows, performance, and delivering reliable mobile features used by real customers.

The role requires 3+ years of Kotlin Android development, strong Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow expertise, and a passion for usable financial apps. You’ll collaborate with product and design to ship high-quality mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android development with Kotlin.
• Strong Android fundamentals and production app shipping experience.
• Good knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow and modern Android architecture.
• Strong sense of mobile UX and user flows.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues.
• Fast execution, high ownership and focus on product quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship Android features using Kotlin.
• Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals and financial services.
• Work with product and design to simplify complex user journeys.
• Integrate backend APIs and ensure mobile flows are stable and reliable.
• Improve app performance, crash rate, loading states and memory usage.
• Use analytics and production feedback to improve the product.
