intent is seeking a Senior Android Developer with strong BLE experience to work remotely on time-and-material freelance projects for real client work. The role offers a path to a permanent contract with full benefits in the future and exposure to wearables and health-tech hardware.

You will design, build, and maintain Android apps that talk to hardware over BLE, write Kotlin code, participate in planning, and maintain tests. Flexible hours and a fast-growing team are provided.

Formación

• 3+ years writing production Android in commercial projects.
• Strong Kotlin proficiency.
• Hands-on BLE integration experience with real devices.
• Jetpack Compose in production.
• Familiar with Android libraries: Koin, Hilt, and modern stack.
• Unit testing discipline (JUnit, Mockito, Robolectric) with a TDD mindset.
• English at B2+, written and spoken.
• Problem-solving over line-counting; high coding standards.
• Initiative, ownership, and clear communication.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain Android apps that communicate with hardware peripherals over BLE
• Write performant, reusable, and reliable Kotlin code
• Take part in specifying, planning, and estimating new modules and features
• Cover your code with unit tests and keep a TDD mindset where it makes sense
• Review pull requests and provide actionable feedback
• Hunt down bottlenecks and bugs across OEMs
• Share learnings via tech talks, internal docs, or pair sessions
• Use AI tools as part of the daily workflow.
