Job summary

Experis ManpowerGroup Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build and maintain cloud-based ELT pipelines using DBT Cloud and Snowflake. You will own data transformations end-to-end and collaborate with distributed teams.

You will migrate legacy systems into a unified EUCAN CDP, implement data quality checks, and support RUN Management while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Data Engineer with cloud ELT pipelines.
• Expert SQL and DBT modelling skills.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud data architecture.
• Strong communication and documentation; works in distributed teams.
• Proactive ownership of data quality and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy Snowflake and Qlik environments into a unified EUCAN CDP.

• Support RUN Management: monitoring, reruns, root‑cause analysis, preventive actions.
• Document model ownership and transformations across CDW_core to CDW_prod.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Data Architect, and affiliates for trusted data products.
• Mentor junior engineers and serve as escalation point for complex data issues.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines in DBT Cloud, ingesting data from sources like OCE IQVIA, Adobe Analytics, Qualtrics, Salesforce, CIAM, and others.
• Contribute to the migration of legacy Snowflake and Qlik environments into the unified EUCAN CDP instance.
• Implement data quality validation frameworks (e.g., DBT tests, freshness checks, anomaly detection).
• Support and improve our RUN Management process: monitoring, reruns, root‑cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Maintain and document model ownership, schema logic and transformations within our CDW_CORE > CDW_STAGE > CDW_PROD architecture.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owner, Data Architect, and affiliate stakeholders to ensure delivery of trusted, scalable and governed data products.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as a point of escalation for complex data issues.

Must‑Have Qualifications

• Expert‑level SQL and DBT modeling skills
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, incremental loading, performance optimization)
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud data architecture
• Strong communication and documentation skills – must work well in distributed teams
• Proactive attitude: ownership over data quality, incident handling and delivery discipline
