Job summary

Google is seeking a Software Engineering Manager in Warsaw to lead Emergent AI infrastructure initiatives. You will manage multiple engineering teams across locations, shaping hardware-software strategy and delivering large-scale AI solutions.

You will mentor engineers, guide product alignment, and drive cross-functional execution. Ideal candidates bring extensive experience in technical leadership, people management, and complex distributed systems, with a track record of delivering impactful

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Responsibilities

Lead the Warsaw site teams responsible for adapting and creating hardware and software for new Emergent AI products in close collaboration with other hardware and software teams in the cloud.
Manage and mentor a team of engineers, providing strategic guidance and fostering professional development.
Partner closely with tech leads, tech lead managers, and engineering managers across the organization to deliver high-impact results.
Navigate distributed operations across the US, Asia, and Europe, guiding engineers as they collaborate across continents to build a brand-new AI Infrastructure product.
Be involved in hardware/software strategy and support of external customer needs and issues with the product.
