Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to join a long-term project for a global banking leader. You will design and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions, collaborating with international teams to transform credit and lending for corporate clients. Occasional on-site visits to Kraków are expected as part of a global delivery model.

The role emphasizes RAG, vector databases, and responsible AI practices, with a strong focus on production-grade systems and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software or ML engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and its ML/AI ecosystem.
• LLM architectures and fine-tuning on domain data.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and prompt engineering.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and maintain high-quality, reusable code.
• Lead design of scalable AI/ML solutions aligned with platform vision.
• Own engineering execution from design to production deployment.
• Champion coding standards and AI best practices for fairness and transparency.
• Evaluate new technologies (RAG, LLM optimization, agentic architectures).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop solutions using RAG and vector databases to extract insights from financial data.
