Senior ABAP Developer - SAP Technology Consulting

Location: Katowice - 2 days office / 3 days remote

Right now, we are looking for a SAP Senior ABAP Developer/ Manager to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team focused on providing cutting-edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players in EMEA region.

Opportunity

We’ll work using the best practices of SAP development and integration. The idea is to deliver business advisory services in transformation and enterprise management systems; implement processes in Cloud, Hybrid and onPremise environments; proceed with greenfield and brownfield approaches and deal with Agile and combined methodologies. Your responsibility will include managing the quality of implementation projects.

Responsibilities

• As a member of our team, you’ll have a chance to extend your experience. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in advisory projects – being a part of SAP Technical Team.
• You’ll also participate in post-implementation review of chosen processes as well as in coordination of the main project tasks.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• To be having good implementation experience in at least 1 of the area – ABAP (Backend) OR Fiori (Frontend) OR SAP BTP RAP Programming
• SAP HANA syntax and capabilities – CDS, AMDP and ODATA. Experience in S4 HANA Migration and Implementation projects
• Willingness to learn and be trained in other technologies / areas - SAP Fiori or SAP BTP or SAP BOPF
• Strong coding skills in ABAP OO
• 5+ years of experience in SAP Development
• Experience in reports and dialog transactions development
• Experience in SAP system enhancements
• Printouts technologies practice knowledge – SAP Adobe forms, SAP Smart forms
• Very good data modelling and design skills
• Backend integration experience (Proxy, IDOC, RFC, REST…)
• Strong teamwork skills
• Strong work ethics
• Good English verbal and written communication

Ideally you’ll also have

• German or other European language is an advantage
• Great sense of humour
