Job summary

IBM Consulting in Poland invites applications for a trainee role focused on cybersecurity operations. You will learn to use SIEM technologies to investigate alerts, monitor client environments, and help create and adjust SIEM alert rules. You will collaborate with engineering teams and communicate with clients to ensure operational awareness.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree, have strong English, and are eager to learn about TCP/IP and basic security concepts in a hands‑on program.

Qualifications

• Good command of English both written and spoken.
• Understanding of TCP/IP and basic security.
• Willingness to learn SIEM and EDR / curiosity.

Responsibilities

• You will get a chance to learn how to use SIEM technologies to investigate alerts.
• The trainee may be required to study how to monitor and utilize third party tool sets in the client environment to assist with the identification of security threats and incidents.
• Trainee will learn from engineering teams on how to assist in the creation and modification of alerting rules in the SIEM.
• The trainee will take part in communicating with the client on a regular basis through various methods to ensure operational awareness.
