Job summary

General Description

The growth of budgets, transaction volumes and overall intensity of corresponding efforts in BUDFIN Office, trigger the requirement to re-model selected processes within the BUDFIN Office in pursue for efficiency while adjusting to the increased workload and intensity. Accordingly, the Contractor will reinforce the Fiscal and Accounting functions at JFTC and execute tasks centered on Accounts Receivables, VAT and excise duty reimbursement process (execution of privileges granted by the Host Nation) and processing travel claims.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required
  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Secondary Education in Information Technology.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in information security including the conduct of audits.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in system testing with at least one in cyber security awareness.
Duties/role
  • Will ensure proper planning and implementation of all CIS accreditation activities related to the JFTC portion of NATO 2030 and beyond undertakings embracing a range of planning, coordinating, liaising and supervising activities.
  • Will assist in review and coordination of accreditation requirements for all Communication and Information (CIS) at JFTC.
  • Will provide, under direction of the JFTC CIS Security Officer, but largely on their own initiative, support to the JFTC Security Branch.
  • Monitors the progress of projects that impact CIS within the NATO 2030 program; ensures updates and changes are established in accordance with methodologies and standards that ensure resilience of the NATO CIS infrastructure.
  • Develops and executes CIS accreditation plans that support JFTCs 2030 objectives, to include initiating core documents required for endorsement of operational and exercise CIS.
  • Witnesses, reviews, and carries out security testing (in accordance with the approved validation plans) and coordinates a remedial action plan for relevant findings.
  • Leads risk assessment tasks required in support of NATO CIS and linked Business Continuity products, identifies the level of threats and vulnerabilities for all assets, derives residual risks, and provides risk management recommendations in line with the increasing cyber resilience of the NATO Digital Backbone.
  • Participates in and provides support to governance procedures including support for site inspections, vulnerability assessments, and exercises compliance checks.
  • Reviews new CIS requirements and proposals concerning operating standards, NATO policy adherence, and 2030 programme.
  • Provides leadership with subject matter advice on CIS accreditation matters.
