Job Description:
Your daily tasks will include:
- Facilitate and lead Scrum events.
- Identify and address impediments or roadblocks that hinder the team's progress, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Support and advise PO regarding needs refinement and backlog management.
- Shield the team from external distractions and interference, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality work during each sprint.
- Ensure effective communication within the team and with stakeholders, promoting transparency, and minimizing misunderstandings.
- Support team by delivering sprint goals successfully.
- Support delivery understanding in an empirical context.
- Establish key metrics for following team effectiveness (velocity, predictability, user satisfaction, team satisfaction, quality).
- Encourage the team to regularly reflect on their processes and practices during Sprint Retrospectives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Support the delivery team to become autonomous, organized, and multidisciplinary.
- Continuously improve standards and guidelines for way of working within and across teams.
- Continuously coach the team to improve their way of working.
- Continuously assess the team and stakeholders’ agile maturity regarding practices, processes, and agile values, including agile at scale.
- Assist the organization in scaling Scrum practices as needed, adapting the frameworks as required.
What will make you succeed in this role
- Experience as a Scrum Master for at least 3 years in software development and delivery environments and/or proven experience as an Agile Coach or similar role, guiding agile transformations and driving change in software development and delivery environments.
- Very good understanding and experience with a variety of Agile approaches including Kanban & scaled Agile frameworks (Scrum of Scrums, SAFe, LeSS, Spotify Scrum…)
- Experience in guiding others to deal with situations of conflict, ambiguity, and uncertainty.
- Strong understanding of various agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe.
- Fluent in English — spoken and written.
- Experience in using collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Miro.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Scrum Master certification and/or relevant certifications (ICAgile, Certified Enterprise Coach, etc.).
