Billennium is expanding its ERP & Business Solutions team and seeks an experienced SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect. You will own solution architecture within Asset Management, Investment Management and Leasing, shaping scalable SAP solutions in a highly international, regulated environment.

You will collaborate with developers and stakeholders, ensuring compliant, future-proof designs while promoting clean-code principles and technical ownership across teams.

Qualifications

• 4/5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or SAP Architect.
• Strong hands‑on SAP S/4HANA experience in complex environments.
• Experience in Asset Management and related domains is preferred.
• Familiarity with GxP, CSV and GDPR is desirable.

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect to join the ERP & Business Solutions division and take ownership of solution architecture within the Asset Management, Investment Management and Leasing domain.

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of business strategy, SAP S/4HANA architecture, technical design and regulatory compliance. You will shape sustainable, scalable solutions, work closely with developers and business stakeholders, and provide architectural guidance across a complex global ERP landscape.

The role offers the opportunity to work in a highly international and regulated pharmaceutical environment, with exposure to enterprise-scale transformation, modern SAP technologies and complex integration scenarios.

What You Will Do:

Solution Architecture & Technical Design

Design and guide scalable, standardized and maintainable solutions across the SAP S/4HANA landscape.

Define solution architectures and data structures that support long-term business and IT objectives.

Drive complex integrations and actively participate in technical discussions with developers.

Review business requirements and translate them into sustainable, future-proof SAP solutions.

Promote clean-code principles, architectural standards and best practices.

Technical Leadership & Team Enablement

Mentor and coach SAP consultants and developers on solution design, clean-code principles and sustainable architecture.

Lead architectural reviews, design discussions and technical decision-making.

Encourage a culture of technical ownership, quality and continuous improvement.

Support the team in developing resilient, maintainable and scalable solutions.

Business & Stakeholder Partnership

Work closely with Global Business teams, Business Value Stream Leads and Product Owners.

Translate complex business requirements in Asset Management, Investment Management and Leasing into actionable SAP S/4HANA solutions.

Act as a trusted technical advisor and sparring partner for business and IT stakeholders.

Challenge requirements constructively and help stakeholders balance business priorities with long-term IT sustainability.

Regulatory Governance & Compliance

Ensure architectural solutions comply with requirements applicable to a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Embed GxP, GDPR, FDA, EMA and Computer System Validation (CSV) considerations into the solution lifecycle.

Ensure appropriate data classification, access control, traceability and auditability.

Support the delivery of reusable, well-governed and discoverable Data Products.

Shape the long-term technical vision for the Asset Management, Investment Management and Leasing domain.

Evaluate new SAP S/4HANA capabilities, technologies and integration frameworks.

Identify opportunities to modernize the architecture and prevent technical debt.

Contribute to technology roadmaps aligned with future business growth and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Professional Experience

4/5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, SAP Architect or similar senior/lead role.

Strong hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA in complex enterprise environments.

Proven expertise in Asset Management, ideally combined with experience in Investment Management and/or Leasing.

Strong understanding of enterprise solution architecture, data architecture and integration patterns.

Experience working closely with developers on complex technical solutions and integrations.

Regulatory & Industry Experience

Experience working in a highly regulated environment, ideally within Pharma, Biotech or a similarly regulated industry.

Knowledge or practical exposure to GxP, Computer System Validation (CSV) and GDPR is highly desirable.

Understanding of data governance, security, traceability and audit requirements is an advantage.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Proven ability to mentor and guide technical teams in an agile environment.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to act as a trusted sparring partner for both business and IT stakeholders.

Comfortable challenging requirements, facilitating discussions and aligning different perspectives.

Experience working in international, multicultural and onsite/offshore environments.

Methodologies & Tools

Good knowledge of Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks.

Experience with enterprise management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.

Strong understanding of modern integration and middleware patterns.

Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA ecosystem developments and modern enterprise architecture practices.

Education & Language

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration or a related field.

Fluent business English.
