Job summary

Signify is seeking an SAP Manufacturing Functional Lead – O2C (Make) to own run, support and continuous improvement across our manufacturing landscape in a global S/4HANA environment.

You will be the functional expert for manufacturing processes, combining hands-on problem solving with leadership to support critical operations and drive future enhancements across SAP PP, PP/DS, MRP, and MES integrations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP Manufacturing experience in a global environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP PP and/or PP/DS.
• Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA; S/4HANA a plus.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot SAP issues and perform root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Manufacturing run and support activities to ensure stable production processes.
• Act as functional expert across SAP PP, PP/DS, MRP, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control.
• Support and improve Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order, Discrete and Repetitive Manufacturing.
• Manage incidents, service requests, defects, and root cause analysis within AMS/support.
• Support MES integration and production execution processes.
• Ensure integration between Manufacturing and SD/O2C, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance.
• Coordinate enhancements, testing, and implementation.
• Support month-end and year-end manufacturing activities.
• Collaborate with global IT teams and external partners to resolve issues.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and knowledge sharing.
• Provide leadership to team members and partners.

Job description

We are looking for a SAP Manufacturing Functional Lead – O2C (Make) to take ownership of run, support, and continuous improvement activities across our Manufacturing landscape.

In this role, you will work in a global, post-go-live S/4HANA environment, partnering with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure stable and efficient manufacturing and fulfillment processes while driving improvements and standardization.

Your role

As our SAP Manufacturing Lead, you will be a key functional expert for manufacturing processes and their integration across the wider SAP landscape. You will combine hands-on problem solving with technical leadership, supporting business-critical operations and shaping future enhancements.

What you'll do

• Lead SAP Manufacturing run and support activities, ensuring stable and efficient production processes.
• Act as a functional expert across SAP PP, PP/DS, MRP, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control.
• Support and improve manufacturing processes across Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order, Discrete, and Repetitive Manufacturing.
• Manage complex incidents, service requests, defects, and root cause analysis within an AMS/support environment.
• Support MES integration and production execution processes.
• Ensure effective integration between Manufacturing and other SAP areas, particularly SD/O2C, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance.
• Analyze business requirements and system impacts and coordinate enhancements, testing, and implementation.
• Support critical manufacturing activities, including month-end and year-end processes.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, global IT teams, and external partners to solve complex operational and system issues.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and knowledge sharing across the global SAP environment.
• Provide functional guidance and leadership to other team members and partners.

Your experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Manufacturing, particularly SAP PP and/or PP/DS.
• Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA — S/4HANA experience is an advantage, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes, including MRP, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control.
• Experience with Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order, Discrete and/or Repetitive Manufacturing.
• Good understanding of integration between SAP Manufacturing and SD/O2C, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance.
• Experience working in an SAP AMS, application support, or production environment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex SAP issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver system improvements.
• Experience with MES or manufacturing system integration is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders in an international environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum or IT service management is an advantage.
• SAP certification is a plus.
