Job summary

Pentoz is seeking a highly experienced SAP IS-Transportation & Logistics (IS-T&L) Expert to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end logistics and freight operations. You will help digitize transportation planning, fleet management, and real-time supply chain visibility in a remote setting.

5+ years of hands-on SAP IS-T&L or SAP TM experience in logistics-intensive environments, with strong knowledge of multimodal transport and route optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP IS-T&L or SAP TM in logistics environments.
• Deep understanding of multimodal transport, freight cost settlement, and route planning optimization.
• Experience with integration to SAP EWM, Yard Logistics, and event-based tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure SAP IS-T&L modules including Transportation Planning and Execution.
• Fleet and Vehicle Management.
• Warehouse and Yard Integration.
• Integrate transportation functions with SAP TM, SAP EWM, SD/MM, and 3PLs.
• Enable real-time shipment tracking, route optimization, and carrier collaboration via APIs and digital platforms.
• Support global trade, compliance, and documentation per regional and international standards.
• Collaborate across operations, procurement, and IT to ensure on-time, cost-efficient movement of goods.

This is a remote position.

Pentoz is seeking a highly experienced SAP IS-Transportation & Logistics (IS-T&L) Expert to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end logistics and freight operations. You will be instrumental in digitizing transportation planning, fleet management, and real-time supply chain visibility across our growing logistics ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and configure SAP IS-T&L modules including:

Transportation Planning and Execution

Fleet and Vehicle Management

Warehouse and Yard Integration

Integrate transportation functions with SAP TM (Transportation Management), SAP EWM, SD/MM, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs)

Enable real-time shipment tracking, route optimization, and carrier collaboration via APIs and digital platforms

Support global trade, compliance, and documentation in line with regional and international logistics standards

Collaborate across operations, procurement, and IT to ensure on-time, cost-effective movement of goods

You Bring

5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP IS-T&L or SAP TM in logistics-intensive environments

Deep understanding of multimodal transport, freight cost settlement, and route planning optimization

Experience with integration to SAP EWM, Yard Logistics, and event-based tracking systems

Familiarity with IoT for fleet tracking, cold-chain logistics, or last-mile delivery management is a plus

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support complex logistics transformation programs
