We are currently hiring an experienced SAP FICO Migration Lead to support three exciting finance transformation projects. These initiatives vary in scope but share a strong focus on S/4HANA Finance, data migration, and business process optimization. The role is fully remote, open to both German-speaking and non-German-speaking professionals.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior SAP FICO expert who thrives in a dynamic, international environment and is ready to take ownership of cross-functional migration projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the migration and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions (GL, AP, AR, FICA, AA, CO, Cash Management).

Analyze current ECC-based solutions and plan migration to S/4HANA.

Perform GAP and risk analysis, identify workarounds, and propose aligned SAP-standard solutions.

Engage with business stakeholders across Europe to gather requirements and design fit-for-purpose finance solutions.

Bridge the gap between business and technical teams (developers in India).

Manage data migration activities, perform functional testing, and support post-go-live phases.

Provide training and knowledge transfer to end users.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as GAAP, IFRS, and ASC 842.

Requirements

5–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO, including at least 2 years in S/4HANA.

Proven track record in at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation or system conversion.

Strong functional knowledge of core finance processes.

Solid understanding of lease accounting (IFRS 16 / ASC 842) and European accounting practices (GAAP, Intrastat).

Ability to interpret technical SAP details (ABAP knowledge not required, but a strong technical understanding is essential).

Exceptional communication skills in English; German is a strong asset.

Experience leading distributed teams and managing international stakeholders.
