Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Poland in Katowice is seeking a Senior SAP EWM Consultant to join our advisory team. You will implement SAP EWM solutions across warehouse and logistics processes, lead projects, and work in a cross‑functional, international environment.

The role combines hands‑on SAP configuration with business advisory, ensuring high quality delivery for global clients while collaborating with R&D and other EY teams. Hybrid work: 2 days in office, 3 days remote.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in SAP systems implementation (EWM, IM and MM)
• Experience in Business Development and management of SAP team
• End-to-end knowledge of business processes
• Project stream and team lead experience
• Experience in SAP Mobile Technologies implementations and integrations

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

As a member of our team, you’ll have a chance to extend your experience. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in advisory projects - implementation of SAP systems in Warehouse Management, Material Management and Logistics. You’ll also participate in post-implementation review of chosen processes as well as in coordination of the main project tasks.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 15+ years of experience in SAP systems implementation (EWM, IM and MM areas)
• Experience in Business Development and management of experts of SAP team
• Business processes end-2-end knowledge
• Project Stream and Team Lead experience
• Experience in SAP Mobile Technologies Implementations using: SAP Console/ITS Mobile/RFID for Radio Frequency Framework Solution design
• Strong exposure of SAP EWM Outbound, Inbound and Internal processes with VAS, Quality Inspections and EGR, Wave Management, Physical Inventory, Posting Changes
• Proficiency in creation of Master Data i.e. Packaging Specifications, Warehouse Organizational Structure, Settings for Handling Units etc. Must have sound knowledge and experience in configuring/modifying Post Processing Framework in SAP EWM. Along with a strong expertise in setting up the system integration between SAP ERP with SAP EWM
• Proficiency in implementing Labour Management, Yard Management and Cross Docking in EWM
• Experience in interface design and development (RFC/ALE/IDoc/Web Services)
• Hands‑on approach to collaborating with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new SAP solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes.
• Willingness to report the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations, as well as post‑implementation review.
• Practical, hands‑on expertise in designing, testing, and implementing SAP solutions — from workshops and pilots to proof‑of‑concepts and deployment of new or improved system features.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• SAP EWM Certification
• Experience in SAP Mobile Technologies Implementations using: SAP Console/ITS Mobile/RFID for Radio Frequency Framework Solution design
• German or another European language is an advantage
