Astek Polska sp. z o.o. in Warszawa seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our client projects in the manufacturing and enterprise solutions sector.

You will focus on development and maintenance of SAP solutions and be deeply involved in integrations and end-to-end design. Ideal candidates will have strong ABAP programming skills, ABAP Objects expertise, and hands-on experience with IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services, REST, and SOAP.

Responsibilities

• Developing, modifying, and optimizing SAP solutions and interfaces.
• Designing and implementing ABAP developments, including reports, classes, and frameworks.
• Working with ABAP Objects and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Developing User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements, IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and Web Service integrations.
• Analyzing business and technical requirements and designing end-to-end solutions.
• Troubleshooting incidents and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Designing monitoring mechanisms and KPI tracking solutions.
• Optimizing system performance, stability, and data quality.
• Preparing technical documentation and supporting implementation activities.
• Providing technical support, coordinating development activities, and sharing knowledge with team members.

Position

We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of SAP ABAP Developer for our client from the manufacturing / enterprise solutions industry.

Offered salary

Salary: from 1000 to 1900 PLN net/day, depending on experience and competences.

You’re ideal for this role if you:

• Have commercial experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Have very good knowledge of SAP ABAP and Object-Oriented Programming (ABAP Objects).
• Have experience with User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements, custom tables, reports, and SAP custom developments.
• Have practical knowledge of SAP integration technologies such as IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services, REST, and SOAP.
• Can design interfaces and data exchange mechanisms.
• Understand SAP business processes and dependencies between system components.
• Have experience in end-to-end analysis, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.
• Can prepare technical concepts, solution designs, and project documentation.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and business teams.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Experience with SAP CPI, PI/PO, or other middleware solutions.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and SAP monitoring tools.
• Experience in leading technical workshops and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Experience in international SAP projects.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
