Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Senior technical sales experience in energy, power, or industrial automation.
  • Experience managing long-cycle complex sales to large industrial customers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent Polish and English; willingness to travel locally and occasionally internationally.

As the Sales Manager for Controls & Digitalization, you will be a key driver of business continuity and growth in Poland and part of the Southeast & Eastern Europe region. This role is pivotal in managing sales activities for our expanding fleet of new gas power plants and the existing thermal power plant base, directly contributing to the ongoing energy transition. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of power plant control systems and digitalization solutions, combined with a proven track record in B2B sales within the energy sector.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Drive regional sales growth for the Controls & Digitalization portfolio by developing sales strategies and identifying new business opportunities across municipal, utility, and industrial energy customers.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting, market analysis, and competitor monitoring.
  • Develop opportunities in digitalization and decarbonization, positioning Siemens Energy as a trusted partner in the energy transition.
  • Build and maintain strategic customer relationships, acting as the primary contact and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Lead the development of technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with engineering, bid management, and project execution teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, lead contract discussions, and conduct product demonstrations and workshops to successfully close business opportunities.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field, such as Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Control Systems.
  • Proven expertise in a senior technical sales role within the energy, power generation, or industrial automation sector.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, long-cycle sales or execution projects of technical solutions and services to large industrial customers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Fluent Polish and business proficiency English, with a willingness to travel locally and at occasion internationally.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
