About the Client and Role

Our client, a leading global renewable energy and energy storage company, is seeking a Sales Manager to join their Utility Storage Team in Poland. This role is responsible for driving growth in the utility-scale energy storage market by developing a strong pipeline of opportunities, managing customer relationships, and ensuring successful deal execution. The successful candidate will work closely with internal engineering, marketing, and sales teams to translate market needs into actionable solutions and deliver commercial results.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow a pipeline of utility-scale energy storage opportunities within the assigned region.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and technical teams to qualify leads and advance business opportunities.
  • Negotiate and close commercial agreements, managing contracts from inception to completion.
  • Deliver quarterly sales targets by originating and closing defined opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, regulatory dynamics, and economic drivers affecting the energy storage sector.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers, industry partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct techno-economic evaluations to assess project viability, risks, and investment potential.
  • Translate market requirements into functional specifications and coordinate with internal teams for solution delivery.
  • Provide accurate forecasts, performance reporting, and actionable insights to leadership.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in the utility-scale energy sector.
  • Must have BESS or PV experience.
  • Strong understanding of grid/utility markets, power conversion systems, and battery technologies.
  • Skilled in financial modelling, risk analysis, and project evaluation.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and policy frameworks affecting energy storage deployment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills.
  • Fluent in English and Polish; additional languages a plus.
