Job summary

Wilhelmsen - Careers at Sea seeks officers willing to transfer to river passenger vessels under a permanent Swiss contract. The program targets 3rd, 2nd, CO, and Master ranks with ocean vessel background.

Candidates should have at least 500 days on deck on ocean vessels and be prepared to work on Rhine river passenger service. German or French basics are valued; adaptability, guest environment comfort, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 500 days worked as part of a deck crew on an ocean vessel.
• Position of 2nd or 1st officer preferable.
• Experience with offshore crafts and vessels (PSV, DSV, cutters, dredgers, wind park) is a plus.
• German or French language knowledge (basic level).
• Willingness to acquire new skills and highly motivated.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamplayer.
• Willing to work in guest environment.
