The Revenue Performance Organization in Controllership is a dynamic, stakeholder and customer-oriented team in Finance that works with sales and services on customer contracts, orders, and structures and manages these deals from Quote to Order through to revenue recognition. We value business-focus while ensuring that we meet compliance and revenue standards under IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). We collaborate with legal, logistics, FP&A, broader controllership, change management, shared services, and audit associates.
In this role, you will provide advice and support to Hitachi Vantara Sales and Finance organizations, while translating complex commercial, accounting and revenue recognition issues during contract/deal negotiations to ensure deals are structured in accordance with Hitachi Vantara Revenue Recognition policies and IFRS15 and IFRS16 standards to optimize revenue and profits. To support the Geography business, you will develop and manage a team of Revenue Performance associates under the direction of the GEO Revenue Performance Manager to maintain and apply revenue and accounting standards from Hitachi Vantara Policy and IFRS15 and 16 accounting standards. Business training will extend to cross functional teams including Sales, Sales Operations, Legal, Services, Finance, Treasury and Tax. Your team is responsible for ensuring revenue transactions are reviewed, documented, and accounted for correctly. You will have opportunities to collaborate with Global Revenue Performance colleagues to achieve consistent best practices and judgement. Your role in the organization will be to influence, drive and implement changes in all areas of revenue recognition.
