Job summary

Welo Data is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to support an AI data annotation project. You will review trainer submissions, verify accuracy against images and gold answers, and provide precise feedback to maintain data quality.

This freelance, remote-friendly role offers 10 hours per week with compensation at $43.2 per hour. Ideal candidates are meticulous, deadline-driven, with strong English writing skills and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and native/strong Ukrainian proficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong quality mindset.
• Good visual observation and reading comprehension.
• Ability to apply guidelines consistently and objectively.
• Strong written English for feedback.
• QA/QC or data review experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review tasks submitted by Trainers, including the original question, the image, and the golden answer provided.
• Independently verify whether the golden answer is correct based on the image.
• Identify and flag incorrect, incomplete, ambiguous, or inconsistent answers.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback or corrections to help maintain data quality.
• Track recurring error patterns and report them to the project team.
• Ensure Trainer output meets the project's quality bar before final sign-off.
• Escalate unclear cases to the project team for resolution.
