Job summary

ALTA Language Services is seeking a Testing Evaluator for a remote, on-demand, part-time role. The evaluator will assist with testing language proficiency examinations, interacting with examinees in the evaluator's native language, via telephone, video, or other technology. Paid training is provided and confidentiality is essential.

Description includes scoring according to criteria, data entry on the testing platform, and potential item creation/review. Must be based in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Native fluency in the target language is required.
• College degree is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform the test in a professional manner.
• Follow the process to perform the tasks.
• Adhere to guidelines to score the tests.
• Enter data on the testing platform in a timely manner.
• Provide comments and concerns to the testing department.
• Create and review test items.
• Perform other duties for the Operations and Development Testing department.
