Job summary

Speechify Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for AI Data to join the distributed team and develop data pipelines powering our model training and AI products. You will work on petabyte-scale datasets, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

This role emphasizes solving complex data challenges and building scalable systems in a remote-first environment. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software engineering, strong backend skills, and proficiency in Python and Bash within Linux

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong backend development fundamentals.
Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
Experience building and operating production systems, ideally data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

Responsibilities

Discover new sources of audio data and build reliable pipelines for training datasets.
Build and improve large-scale data-processing systems for quality, throughput, and cost.
Collaborate with AI Scientists to improve training datasets and models.
Take ownership of engineering projects from discovery through implementation and improvement.
