Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Software Developer to work on your own project with an AI-powered coding assistant. This fully remote, hourly contract role lets you ship your personal project while retaining full ownership of your code.

You’ll operate in your own environment and schedule, evaluating the assistant’s outputs and documenting your decisions. Open-source projects are welcome, with flexible commitment and compensation for real development work.

Qualifications

• Owns a software project stored in a git repository.
• Comfortable working in the terminal and with git-based workflows.
• Runs macOS, Linux, or Windows with WSL2.
• Able to write clear, honest evaluations of AI assistant outputs.

Responsibilities

• Bring a software project you personally own — a side project, a tool, an open-source library, or something you've been meaning to finish
• Build features, fix bugs, refactor code, write docs, or do whatever your project needs — using an AI coding assistant
• At each step, compare two versions of the assistant's response, choose the better one, and write a brief explanation of your reasoning
• Work in your own environment, on your own schedule, with your own tools
