N-iX is seeking a Senior C# .Net Backend Engineer to help build AI-powered applications for governance and enterprise architecture. You will work in an Azure microservice environment, optimize performance and mentor engineers while collaborating with product owners and teams.

The role emphasizes clean code, scalable design, and participation in agile ceremonies, with a flexible working format including remote or office-based options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with C#/.Net Core and SQL Server (T-SQL).
• Strong OOP and SOLID principles with agile development experience.
• Experience with microservices and performance optimization.
• Mentoring multi-discipline engineers and supporting releases with CI/CD.
• Familiarity with AI tools in software development and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owner to refine features and acceptance criteria.
• Develop in C#/.Net Core within an Azure microservice environment.
• Optimize performance to speed up responses and scale.
• Assist with data structuring and technical problem solving.
• Adhere to coding standards and lead code reviews with team leads.
• Participate in stand-ups, retrospectives, planning and technical discussions.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing through workshops and presentations.
