The Senior Medical Director will provide strategic medical and scientific leadership across the therapeutic area, guiding development plans and engaging with customers throughout the R&D lifecycle.

The role requires a terminal degree in medicine with Rheumatology training, a minimum of 10 years of experience, and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Terminal MD degree with training in Rheumatology and board certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO.
• Strong leadership capabilities and ability to drive strategic initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Work independently of the therapeutic area head.
• Demonstrate independence in strategic proposal development with the proposal team.
• Lead client proposal bid defense meetings as a leader and subject matter expert.
• Act as consultant throughout the R&D life cycle and the duration of clinical trials; and/or as a standalone independent customer solution.
• Formulate clinical development plans and execute the group strategy for the Center of Excellence.
